How to Book PTE Exam Dates

For booking the PTE exam, you have to keep some things in mind, which are given below.
The minimum age limit is 16 years and if you are under 18, you must provide consent from your parents.
If you are not satisfied with your PTE exam result, you can retake your exam but you will need to wait at least five days.
The PTE exam booking process is really easy. You can easily book your exam via phone or online portal.

How to Check Availability of PTE Exam Dates

Once you have decided to take the PTE exam, the next step is to check the date availability at the nearest exam center. To check this you can visit the official PTE registration portal, after checking the date you can decide the preferred date to take the PTE exam that suits your preparation.
Here are the steps to check the exam date availability on the official PTE website.
Open the official website of PTE and click on “Check Test Availability”.
On clicking “Check Test Availability”, you will see a pop-up window where you will get the option of “PTE Academic Availability”. Here you can choose any date of the PTE exam as per your convenience.
After selecting the date, you will see the option “Find My Appointment” where you will enter your location details, like where you want to take the exam from.

How to Book the PTE Exam?

If you want to book your PTE exam, you will get two options: phone or online portal. You can find the booking process through both options below.

1. By Phone:

For booking PTE exam through phone you can call the PTE testing authority by dialing 00080 0440 2020. You can register for the exam through phone at any time except Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays.

2. Online Portal:

First open the official PTE website and create a new account.
Fill the valid information in your profile as per your passport and if you are under 18 then you have to provide the consent from your parents.
As you complete these details you will get mail from Pearson with your login details.
After that you will choose any exam date and center as per your preference.
Once you are done the portal will take you to the payment page where you will confirm your payment by debit card or credit card.
After successful payment you will get confirmation of your PTE exam registration.

How to Reschedule PTE Exam Date?

If you want to reschedule your exam due to any reason then you can easily do that through MyPTE account at the official website of PTE. But you can only reschedule your exam before 14 days of your exam date, after that the website will not show the reschedule option, it will be removed from there, and you can reschedule your exam maximum 6 times.

Additionally, if you wish to reschedule your exam due to a medical emergency you can request for free exam scheduling, you just need to submit some proof of the medical emergency. You can check the steps to reschedule your PTE exam dates below.

Open MyPTE account and go to the dashboard.
Here you will find the details of the scheduled PTE exam.

If you want to cancel your PTE exam for any reason you can easily cancel by visiting the official website of PTE and please note that if you cancel your exam 7 days before the exam date you will be able to get a refund and if you cancel the exam less than 7 days before the exam you will not get any refund.

How to Request a PTE Rescore?

There are two options to requests for your PTE score; technical review and machine rescore.
Technical Review: For technical review you need to fill a customer support form. In the form you will find an inquiry section where you can select your issue. There you will see many options, click on “I want to request a rescore”. After this you will get another form where you need to fill your personal details and select your exam type. After completing this process, you will get your rescore result within 15 business working days.

Machine Score: To request this option, you need to contact Pearson customer support. Visit the official PTE website and go to the Help Center where you will see the "Scoring" option, where you will find the customer support number. You can contact customer service and explain your problem and request for a rescore.
