Admission Process in Russia

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Russia

Pursuing an MBBS degree in Russia is particularly easy for Indian students. All that you would need is listed below:

Age: You must be 17 years old before or on December 31st of the admission year.

Marks: Students from the General category must have received more than 50% in their 12th grade science subjects such as physics, biology, and chemistry. English needs to be the student’s compulsory subject.

Students from other caste categories must have the same subject combination and a minimum aggregate equivalent to 40%. The discipline requires the interested student to have passed out from ISC/ CBSE or any other similar board.

Exam: If the interested student has appeared for NEET, the qualification of the same would be sufficient for admission in one of Russia’s MCI-approved colleges.

In the case of non-NEET aspirants, MCI has stated that Indian students who do not take the NEET and wish to join Foreign Medical Universities in 2019 must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from MCI at the time of admission. The MCI has made this decision in conformity with the judgment of the Delhi High Court.

Passport: Students aspiring for medicine in Russia, must necessarily have a valid passport.

Unlike in other international nations, Russia does not fixate on the need for IELTS and TOEFL to pursue medical education.

As an international student, one would need to submit the following documents for admission into a Russian institute::
