If you perform extremely well in NEET and score good enough to get a government medical seat in India, go for it. Unfortunately, if you do not get a seat in India, apply for MBBS abroad without wasting any more time. One drop is suffice to give yourself a chance for MBBS seat in India. MBBS abroad is definitely a good choice. You can get to study in elite government universities and that too at affordable costs. Some offer scholarships too, to extremely brilliant students. The degree awarded by them is globally recognized, so on your return to India after the degree, you will be eligible to practice. Also you will be eligible to apply for residency to other countries. Studying abroad will give you an international exposure plus you will get to learn a lot from students of different nationalities. Most universities accept Indian students based on their 12th scores. The eligibility criteria are not very high and with many universities no separate entrance exam is required. Of course, NEET qualification is mandatory for an Indian medical aspirant.
