Department of Education and Social Sciences

The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) at the University of Southern Queensland is a four-year program that will prepare you to teach in early childhood and primary settings. You will learn about child development, pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and planning, and gain practical experience in a variety of educational settings.

The Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at the University of Southern Queensland is a four-year program that will prepare you to teach in secondary schools. You will learn about adolescent development, pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and planning, and gain practical experience in a variety of educational settings.

The Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies at the University of Southern Queensland is a three-year program that will provide you with a broad understanding of education. You will study a range of topics including the history and philosophy of education, sociology of education, psychology of learning, and curriculum and pedagogy. This program will provide you with the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in education, or to continue your studies at a postgraduate level.

Department of Health, Engineering, and Sciences

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) offers a range of courses in health, engineering and sciences.

The health courses cover a wide range of topics including anatomy, physiology, nutrition, pharmacology, medical science and health psychology. The USQ is a multi-campus university. It has three campuses, one in Toowoomba, one in Springfield and one in Ipswich.

Toowoomba

The Toowoomba campus of the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is located in Toowoomba, a regional city in the Darling Downs area of Queensland, Australia. The campus is situated on the western edge of the city, close to the Toowoomba CBD. USQ Toowoomba offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as a range of research opportunities. It is the main campus of the university.

When is the deadline for applications?

To be eligible for admission, international students must meet the general admission requirements of the University of Southern Queensland, which include the following: -Be at least 18 years of age -Have completed secondary education -Have achieved the required academic results for the chosen program -Be proficient in English -Meet any other specific program requirements

If you are offered admission to the University of Southern Queensland, you will need to confirm your place by paying a deposit. You will then need to complete the enrolment process and register for classes.

The University of Southern Queensland will send a letter of offer to successful applicants.
