Founded in 2006, it is one of the newest universities in the UK. The university has nearly 26,000 students and offers a wide variety of courses in subjects such as business, computing, engineering, health and social care, media and communication, and sport.

Tuition fees vary depending on the course and level of study. For undergraduate students, fees range from £9,250 to £16,000 per year for full-time study. For postgraduate students, fees range from £4,000 to £11,000 per year for full-time study. Additional fees may also apply for some courses, such as placement fees or field trips. Discounts and scholarships are available to eligible students.

The university offers a range of bursaries and grants for students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, and there are also scholarships and awards for international, mature, and disabled students.
