St. George's University is a private global college in Grenada, West Indies, offering degrees in medicine, veterinary medicine, public health, the health sciences, nursing, expressions and sciences, and business.St. George's University was set up by a demonstration of Grenada's parliament on July 23, 1976. Classes in the School of Medicine started on January 17, 1977. In 1993, the University included alumni and undergrad programs. In 1996, it was allowed a sanction for the School of Arts and Sciences and a Graduate Studies Program. In 1997, college classes in global business, life sciences, medical sciences, pre-medical and pre-veterinary medication were included. The School of Veterinary Medicine was set up in 1999, similar to the University's Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
St. George's University claims 65 structures on 42 sections of land, spread out in a landmass in the southwest corner of Grenada situated in the West Indies. St. George's University School of Medicine offers a Doctor of Medicine degree program that can be earned separately or as a major aspect of a double degree with a Master of Public Health, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, or Bachelor of Science. School of Veterinary Medicine students may acquire a DVM without anyone else's input or with the previously mentioned degree programs. Furthermore, the School of Arts and Sciences offers four-year college education projects, and students can gain an MPH, MBA, MSc or Ph.D. through the Graduate Studies Program.
