Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College is established to fulfil the aim of providing teaching excellence, clinical care to the patients and opportunities for students to explore their hidden potential in the field of medical sciences. The Government of NCT of Delhi founded the college. The Ambedkar College has an affiliation from Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University. It also comes under the influence of the Medical Council of India. The college gets its grant and aid entirely from the government.
Currently, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College is offering students undergraduate course of MBBS. The College is taking 100 intakes every year.
One must have completely done the schooling plus 2 with necessary medical subjects like physics, chemistry and biology. Also, the candidate should be at present of 17 years of age. The maximum age limit for the general category is 25 years, and SC/ST category students have some age relaxation. Also, it is required to qualify NEET entrance exam.
The annual fees of MBBS course are 1,01000 rupees. The amount of 1,01000 rupees is also to be paid at the time of admission.
